MH TEXTILE ADVANCES TOWARD GREEN FACTORIES – DRIVING SUSTAINABLE GROWTH IN THE GLOBAL TEXTILE INDUSTRY
On July 11, 2025, MH TEXTILE (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. hosted an in-depth internal training session focused on the latest updates regarding ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals)—one of the world’s leading standards for chemical management in the textile industry. The training brought together key department managers across the factory, not only to enhance awareness but also to foster a forum for knowledge exchange and collaborative learning on the path to green development.
With a strong commitment to clean and sustainable manufacturing, MH TEXTILE continually upgrades its infrastructure and operational processes. Some of the key highlights in our “green factory” strategy include:
- Installation of Solar Energy Systems: A renewable solution to reduce electricity consumption and lower environmental impact.
- Transition from Coal-Fired to Biomass Boilers: A critical move to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, steering toward an environmentally friendly industrial future.
- Upgrading and Expanding Wastewater Treatment Facilities: The implementation of a circular water reuse system ensures compliance with stringent environmental standards and contributes to water conservation.
- Warehouse Expansion and Phase 2 Plant Construction: Upon completion, the combined production capacity across both phases will reach an impressive 4,000,000 yards of fabric per month—ensuring not only quantity but also consistent quality for global clients.
Alongside infrastructure investments, MH TEXTILE proactively adopts internationally recognized standards to build a transparent, responsible, and sustainable supply chain.
To realize its core values and commitment to minimizing environmental impact, improving resource efficiency, and ensuring traceability for every batch, the company has achieved a wide range of globally recognized certifications and sustainability initiatives. These include:
GOTS, GRS, OCS, RCS, REGENAGRI, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, EUROPEAN FLAX, FSC, HIGG FEM & vFEM, SLCP, SMETA, and active participation in programs such as ZDHC, BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), and the U.S. COTTON TRUST PROTOCOL.
